GP Generate, Social Update: Brand Beliefs

People are demanding brands use their power and reach for a greater purpose.

Culturally, we are at a precipice where “silence is consent.” Not only are brands expected to take a stance, but they are held accountable for their beliefs. People don’t want just a statement; they want meaningful action. For example, @pullupforchange is an Instagram channel launched in June ‘20 dedicated to holding brands accountable for their company and leadership diversity.

Do good and do well – Nike’s stock price reached an all-time high after the Colin Kaepernick ad.

What’s Being Said
